Wine-inspired wedding for Giulia and Alessandro
I meet Alessandro and Giulia directly at the venue. They are not looking for a standard reception hall, but for a place where they can truly envision their wedding. From the very first moment, they imagine it outdoors, beneath the stars, in an authentic, bucolic setting where wine is not a detail, but the thread running through the entire celebration. Alessandro is a certified sommelier with Federazione Italiana Sommelier Albergatori Ristoratori; Giulia discovered wine thanks to him. Together, they travel through wineries, wine regions, and wine resorts, turning every tasting into a shared memory. The concept begins there: to weave wine into the menu, the pairings, the décor, and the overall atmosphere of the reception. They also choose to include a symbolic wine ritual within the civil ceremony: two wines poured into the same glass as a tangible metaphor for their union. A simple gesture, coherent and deeply personal. The style is country chic — elegant yet natural. Above the tables, light floral arrangements intertwine with grape clusters; the mise en place welcomes guests with refined details inspired by the world of wine. Burgundy napkins recall Sangiovese, while the wedding favor is a carefully selected bottle for guests to take home as a final act of sharing. At the heart of the project is the Tableau de Vin: an itinerant seating plan where each bottle represents a grape variety and a story. Pupitres become scenic display stands, transforming the space into a small open-air cellar; the remuage of a traditional method bottle concludes the moment with an almost ritual value. Under the September sky, every detail carried meaning. Nothing was mere decoration — everything was narrative. Every element spoke about them.
